Side: Infiltrators
Ghost
No word, just nerve. And one last chance to win it all.
- Power
- You have no word at all. Listen, bluff… and if you are unmasked, guess the Civilians’ word to win alone.
- Card type
- Side, decided by your word
- Win condition
- Win with the impostors, or guess the Civilians’ word when you are eliminated.
How to play this role
You have no word, and you know it. You never start the round of clues: listen to the first players, guess the topic, and make up a believable clue.
You play with the infiltrators: if only one Civilian is left, you win. And if you are eliminated, you get one last chance: guess the Civilians’ word to win alone (and score the most points).
Strategies and tips
- Stay vague: a broad clue (“summer”, “it’s nice”) is hard to attack.
- Keep an eye on the clue board: when it’s time to guess, it is your best lead.
- Beware of the impostors: they have a close word and may mislead you.
- You never start a round: use the first clues to invent yours.
Frequently asked questions
- Does the Ghost speak first?
- Never. The clue order is random, but a Ghost is never placed first.
- What happens if the Ghost guesses the word?
- They win alone, immediately, whatever the other sides’ situation.
